The thesis aimed to analyze the social responsibility of the three EdC small enterprises in the city of Igarassú-Pe, to see if they were had the requirements for publishing their Social Report. After collecting data through interviews with the owners, it was verified that the companies examined are socially responsible, because they invest in the further-training of their employees, help the community in which they operate and are concerned about preserving the environment; furthermore, they are in possession of the information needed to compile the Social Report. It is therefore concluded that, if they decide, they may develop a Social Report in line with the model suggested by IBASE for small and micro enterprises.
