The University of Zagreb – Faculty of Economics & Business and the Croatian EoC commission organise the International Conference entitled:
The Economy of Communion - building a better world!
The conference will be held on 10 May 2024 at the University of Zagreb - Faculty of Economics and Business (Congress Hall, Trg J.F. Kennedy 6, Zagreb, Croatia), from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Says Peter Fabjan, one of the conference organisers:
«Our conference represents an opportunity for collective reflection on the importance of applying the principles of the Economy of Communion in today’s world. Given the challenges we face, such as the global security crisis, economic uncertainty, environmental problems and general lack of trust, the question arises of how to create a more sustainable and just world. Our vision is clear: to create an economic paradigm that places the human person at the center of its activities.»
The conference will bring together leaders from the world of work and business, scientists, entrepreneurs, and activists who will share their experiences, examples of best practices and perspectives for the future. Through various panels, discussions and workshops, we will encourage participants to find inspiration and concrete steps for implementing the principles of the Economy of Communion in their organizations and communities.
Peter concludes: «We invite everyone interested to attend this important event to build together the future we want to see.»
