On Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. (CET), the EoC family gathering returns:
EoC Global Gathering: Flashes of life & roots
A few more details about the program for our next meeting next Saturday, in online mode starting at 1 pm. The Global Gathering will begin by remembering Chiara Lubich, on the 16th anniversary of her passing, and we will do so with Luigino Bruni, author of the book «101 domande su Chiara Lubich». We will then move on to «Flashes of EoC Life»: news from the EoC world. The protagonists of this edition's in-depth reports-focused on integral ecology-will be Myrian Pereira Vasques who will give us updates on the AMAZZONIA VIVA project and Simona Di Ciaccio who will present the ECOGIVE app.
Next we will have a roundup of upcoming events that are flourishing here and there in the EoC world demonstrating that Economy of Communion is alive and wants to restart after the years of stagnation and crisis that followed Covid: conferences and meetings are being organized from the Ivory Coast, to Argentina, from Serbia to Italy, to Singapore. Rounding out the news is an interview with Francesco Tortorella, who has been working full-time with the International EoC Commission for a few weeks.
Then the much-anticipated meeting with the pioneering EoC entrepreneur featured in this Flashes of life & roots, American John Mundell, from Indianapolis, Indiana, who will share with us his rich EoC life experience within his environmental engineering firm Mundell. Going back to the roots: in what for Economy of Communion is a time of transition, we have realized how vital it is to look back to the "roots", to what was experienced in the founding years. Listening to the pioneering entrepreneurs who from the very beginning radically accepted Chiara Lubich's invitation to give birth to "Economy of Communion in freedom enterprises" is important because they certainly have something vital and charismatic to tell us today about the future of the EoC.
The meeting will close with some words from Chiara Lubich that Anouk Grevin will share with us. Don't miss it!
