On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Economia di Comunione we present #EoCatWork, a series of 4 webinars realized by Sophia University Institute in collaboration with Economy di Communion.
#EoCatWork: four occasions (one per month from February to May) to get to know the entrepreneurs of Economy of Communion, their companies, and the history of their business.
After meeting Elisabetta Epping-Rossi, entrepreneur of AGÁTA Rösterei & Café, on 18 February from Mannhein, on 11 March we travel to the USA to meet Andrew Gustafson of Communion Properties, a real estate company in Omaha, Nebraska: "Rebuilding homes and job opportunities", introduces John Mundell.
Andrew Gustafson is a professor of business ethics with a PHD in philosophy and a thriving real estate business. "What do you do?" and "why do you do it?": questions borrowed from philosophy that every person should ask themselves, especially those in business. This is how Andrew describes his experience:
"There is a 'redemptive' quality to the work of renovating buildings, in line with and in the spirit of God's desire to renew and redeem creation."
