Elfriede Hirschmugl, pioneer of the EoC in Austria, has left us
Elfriede Hirschmugl (6.2.1958 – 6.10.2023), mother of three children is, together with her husband Alois, a pioneer of the Economy of Communion in Austria. For two decades she was focus point of communion of the family business in the field of organic paints and natural building materials, Hirschmugl. For a long time, since 2008, the Schoenstatt couple Hirschmugl has been a supporting pillar of the Economy in Communion in Austria widely connected with many Economy in Communion businesses all over Europe.
Her life was marked by devotion to her family, to the school children whom she accompanied as a teacher for many decades, and last but not least to the family business and its orientation according to the values and principles of the Economy of Communion. The entrepreneurial experience is characterized by "taking time" for the customers, for the relationships with suppliers, for innovation and also for trainees.
